So the Rathdrum Library wanted to display photos from a local artist in their young adult section. They saw my blog and chose some photos. Then they asked me to resize the images and send to order to be printed on Canvas. I was so lucky that I learned this in Digital imaging because some of the imagines were not the correct size or the focal point did not fit into the frame properly.

Edits: I pulled this photo into Photoshop and added a Levels Adjustment Layer to it. That brought out more contrast and lightened the lights on the barn and tracker more. I then set up the image size to 24×36. I found out that when I went to put my guides in for the 2-inch wrap around, part of the barn was cut off. So I cropped the image down to 20×32 so I could choose exactly what I wanted to display on the face and then I added 4 inches vertical and horizontally to the canvas size. I then used content aware to fill the extra background. Then I took the dodge tool and brought more light into the tracker and bumped up the Sats, and there you have it. Process: To take this image I had to wait tell it was dusk and there was not a lot of light in the sky. I set my camera on a tripod and put my settings on 10 secs for the Shutter Speed and 10 for the F-stop. I put my self-timer on as well so I would not get any camera shack. Then Sister Esplin painted the barn with her flashlight and Dan and myself painted the tracker. When I say painted I mean we shown the light on the objects and traced it in a circular motion.
