Julieanne Kost Inspired Landscape
It’s My World!

I don’t know if I have mentioned this, but Julieanne Kost totally inspires me. Ha ha I guess I have more then once. Anyways I have been trying out a fast shutter speed with my landscape shots, to create an abstract look. One thing I love about Julieanne Kost is she believes in breaking the rules to create shots that describe you. Jaime and Dustin Announcement
Announcement

I was asked to do Jaime and Dustin’s announcement. This was a very good learning experience for me, because at first they asked me to just design it. I did but it was not what they were looking for. So I worked with them directly to see what kind of design they were wanting and how they wanted it to appear. After we communicated and talked about what they were looking for this is the design I came up with. It was fun, because they made me leave my comfort zone and break the rules of design a little. This was a fun experience for me, because my roommate Jess never was able to get Senior pictures. Her mom wanted them and felt bad that she was not able to get them. I told her I would be willing to give her a couple of pictures and she could send one framed to her family back home. Here are a few of my favorite shots.

In back in October I had the opportunity to shoot the Peterson Family in American Fork, Utah. They are a sweet little family! I love little Landon and Aden they were so fun to work with. We ran into some obstacle, the only time this family that worked for them the weekend that I happened to be in Utah was 11:00 a.m. Not the most flattering light to be taking portraits in. However we were able to work around it and the Peterson’s were happy with how their images turned out. My favorite shots are of the brothers. Photography and Edits done by Julie Peterson. On Saturday I had the opportunity to go with my Comm 316 class on a photo excursion. Our assignment was food and product. These next shots is showing the variety of different products shots I can get. I used a light box and a plexiglass to get these next shots.
